Sementara itu mobil konsep ini dibekali dengan mesin 1,4 liter turbo berteknologi Booster Jet. Dan menurut info yang beredar, mesin ini akan dilengkapi dengan pilihan Suzuki S-Energy hybrid system  yang akan menggunakan baterai lithium-ion berkapasitas besar.

Pada sistem penggeraknya, Suzuki Swift Sport Concept menggunakan girboks kopling ganda dengan sistem gerak All Wheel Drive atau empat roda. Sisitem ini memiliki pilihan sport yaitu sistem 4WD aktif saat berada di jalan lurus, dan pada saat menikung akan berpindah secara otomatis menjadi penggerak roda depan, dan kembali kembali ke sistem 4WD saat Anda menekan gas keluar dari tikungan.
